New EBM energy fund

The new EBM energy fund supports cooperative members who invest in renewable energies or want to use energy more efficiently. A large part of your daily energy consumption is wasted unnecessarily. This applies to property as much as it does to vehicles and equipment. Energy is used thoughtlessly and inefficiently in many places. EBM has a statutory responsibility to promote an economical approach to energy and to build renewable energy plants. Delegates unanimously agreed to a new EBM energy fund at the delegates’ meeting of 9 June 2009. One million Swiss francs of financing have been made available to it from the 2008 annual profits. The new EBM energy fund will provide financial support for energy efficiency and new renewable energies from 2010.

So EBM is extending its comprehensive environmental management even further.
