EBM (Elektra Birseck Cooperative)

Founded in 1897, the cooperative today includes some 49,000 members.  EBM’s comprehensive network supplies 60 communities in the cantons Basel-Landschaft and Solothurn in the Northwest region of Switzerland, as well as in Alsace. This means that something approaching 220,000 people are provided with power and related services.
